A question, a correction, or a mower that has you staring at it from across the yard? Email [email protected]. Every message is read by me, Jeff.
What to send
- Corrections. The page and what’s wrong. These jump the queue, because a wrong answer about a blade or a fuel system is worse than a slow reply.
- Questions. The more specific, the better: the make, the model, the engine, and what the machine is doing. “My mower won’t start” is a mystery. “A 2019 riding mower that starts cold but dies after ten minutes” is an answer waiting to happen.
- Topic ideas. If you searched for something and came up empty, tell me what you typed. That’s the most useful suggestion there is.
What I can’t help with
- Diagnosing a safety problem by email. If you smell fuel, see smoke, or a blade or brake isn’t behaving, stop using the machine and have a dealer or small-engine shop look at it.
- Warranty claims and parts orders. GardenTooly doesn’t sell equipment or parts. Those go to the manufacturer or the dealer you bought from.
- Paid guest posts, link insertions and “SEO partnerships”. The answer is a polite, firm no.
I can’t promise a quick reply to every message, especially during mowing season, but I do read them all.
